The Chas. E. Slusser Agency, Inc. was founded in 1930 by Charles E. Slusser. Mr. Slusser was also very involved in politics, becoming mayor of Akron in 1942 and later going on to serve as Federal Housing Administrator under Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Mr. Slusser along with his sons Donald and Richard, built the agency around excellent customer service and by offering the best products available.
Charles T. Davis joined the agency in 1963 and had been in the insurance business since 1950. Chuck exercised his opportunity to purchase the agency from the Slusser's and is still the owner today.
Chuck's son, Charles R. Davis, "Chick", joined the agency with his father in 1979. Together Chuck and Chick have established The Slusser Agency as the premiere agency in the Akron-Canton area. The Slusser Agency is a full service agency with professional agents that are able to handle any type of insurance need.
